Real update(s) later today. In the meantime, Guerilla Queer Bar is planning a celebratory procession on the day the new pope is announced, starting at Ginger's Trois. I'm thinking of doing it. Anyone want to join me?

Addendum: per susannochka's suggestion, let's beat the rush and have a pre-Papal Happy Hour starting at 5:30 on whatever day this thing happens.

Ginger's is definitely a queer bar, but the GQB people intend to proceed from there up through Chinatown.

(not really relevant, but I had a plan to have a drink with a former coworker I'm DYING to get out of... she wouldn't really be a Ginger's person so much... I'm wondering what horrible excuse I can come up with.)
