In fact, you know what's *really* not work safe for me? Links that use sounds. A sound clip goes off in my cubicle, and everyone knows I'm goofing off. I'm hardly alone in this department, either. Yet hardly anyone seems to put a disclaimer on those. (Blessings upon blessings to those who are the exception to this rule!)

I'm done griping now. And before anyone asks, yes, I have muted my desktop machine.

Wow, a corporation that allows speakers on comps? I worked at one place that didn't even allow disk drives, or have USB ports, so that the workers could only work on network apps.

I brought in my speakers to listen to CD's. They have no problem with that here.

It did however, hip me to the internet audio ad though really, really fast. I've learned to mute when I surf.
