brief update

Sad to say, nobody slipped me their phone number last night. Other than that, though, I think the evening went rather well. Plus I had pie!

And this morning, I finally nailed down the interview with [data embargo], so now I can write the piece and be done with it.

Plus, I get to leave work early today for my foot check-up.

Not that I'd worked out the way to do it for maximum blush-age. But maybe I could have done something.
