Jul. 14th, 2003 12:45 pmJust edited a story on Google's SafeSearch feature for YesPortal.
It's such a non-story. One of our writers is frothing at the mouth because SafeSearch is the default search mode for Google.
There are plenty of real threats to our freedom; no need to get into a lather about a feature that is easily turned off. If you couldn't turn it off, that would be a problem worth stamping one's feet about. If it was excessively paternalistic, it might be worth a moment of crankiness. But this? Geez.
