Jul. 15th, 2003 08:50 pmI would like to publicly express some annoyance at the number of recipes on the web that call for "fresh chickpeas" when they obviously mean dry. They're just using "fresh" as opposed to "canned," but what I have are fresh green chickpeas.
Unfortunately, "green chickpeas" appears to be a type of legume that can also be found dried. Argh.
