My department took me out for my belated birthday lunch today. The topic of writing came up, since there are three of us wordprocessors now who do it, in one form or another. Our 20 year veteran team lead asked if she could see some of our stuff someday.

"I'll see what I can dig up," I said, "but most of it is either boring or smutty."
