Oct. 5th, 2005 09:22 amLast night, just before writer's group, I ran into A., my old co-worker at that magazine. She was walking her dog with her husband. She was worried that I wouldn't recognize her b/c she has blonde hair now; in fact, it is more likely I wouldn't recognize her b/c her fashion style was toned down. But I did recognize her, even though I haven't seen her in three or so years.
Still a little awkward and shy, but at the same time, so much calmer, centered, and mature. Just from five minutes on the street, I got this impression. It was good to see.
She invited me to a barbecue in two weeks at her place, but I will be in LA.
