brief weekend update

pantryslutThis weekend was about as quiet as it gets, considering I had a party to run in the middle of it. I skipped out of said party just before midnight for the second time in a row, joking that once I turned 35, all my stamina vanished. But then I calculated that normally, I devote ten hours straight to said event. Yeah, I think I deserve a break now and then. I will do better in December.
Other than that, I cooked, ate, acquired Connect Four, watched some football (both kinds) and a silly movie at home, and took a lot of naps. Yeah. If I'd tucked a little bit of writing or some housecleaning in there, it would have been just about perfect.
Oh yes, let's not forget the shop talk. I enjoyed the shop talk quite a bit.
