Oct. 18th, 2005 11:52 amSpeaking of Stirring Up A Storm, I was browsing it last night. Some of the stories are reprints, e.g. Margaret Atwood's "Rape Fantasies." It's my second favorite short story of hers.
I think Atwood doesn't get enough credit for being funny. "Rape Fantasies" is a dark story in some ways, but in others, it's laugh-out-loud.
My story, btw, is "The Secret Life of Mr. Clean." Atwood also mentions Mr. Clean as an erotic icon in her story. Thanks to all the heavens (and to the editor, Marilyn Jaye Lewis, too) for *not* putting my story and hers next to each other.
