apartment hunting

pantryslutThree apartments viewed today. We'll apply for two, both in El Cerrito. The third was lovely, in a 20's-era building in Oakland, but too far from transportation, and not enough stuff within walking distance.
Just got off the phone for an appointment for another in Oakland; I think that makes three viewings for us tomorrow as well. Any Friday yet? I'm not sure.
Plus there's a place practically around the corner that I am dying to check out. Wouldn't that be a kick?
My wish list for an apartment:
Gas stove
Two bedrooms, or one bedroom and an extra room that I could use as an office
Dishwasher
Outdoor space -- a balcony or porch is sufficient
Laundry in the building
Lots of kitchen storage space
Mandatory: Multiple cats OK. Walking distance to BART if in the East Bay; walking distance to MUNI or BART if in the city.
We fill out lots and lots and lots of applications tonight. Probably while either watching Review Porn or listening to Review Music. (But not both. At least not at the same time.)
Meanwhile, I fought off a migraine, while driving around, with judicious applications of caffeine and Excedrin. Yar! Medicinal Thai Iced Tea!
