The cat I got in high school and who has lived with my parents for about 20 years, Licorice, is dying. My brother's post, with pictures, is here.

We got her as a kitten from a very poor and very nice college student who rescued her from the street and fed her on hot dogs because he couldn't afford cat food. She was so tiny. My first kitten. I named her. She is the sweetest cat you might have ever met. I mean it.
