What I Did With the Eggplant

I halved them, roasted them in the oven, and then sauced them with a spicy sesame paste based sauce. We ate them for dinner over rice.
The sauce was pretty good. I think I would like it a lot over noodles. It went well with the eggplant. This was not a spectacular dinner, but it was good. Also, it was a little light. I had a snack afterwards.
Getting the sesame paste was more of an adventure than it should have been :) I had a very nice walk through Chinatown on my lunch break, let's just put it that way.
