It's really gorgeous outside today. It was cold, cold, cold this morning in the office, but by lunchtime, it was sunny and warm and just beautiful. I took a long walk, bought a sandwich, ate it in the park around the corner. I could have just sat there on the bench all afternoon, but now I am back in my cave, reading gay porn.

My office has an awesome library. It's right next to the snacks, though. I miss the food culture of my old office, when people would bring in odd foodstuffs, bought or prepared, from banana cake to those odd chalky cookies from the Philipines, and leave them out in the kitchen or on top of our cabinet. Costco-supplied treats in bulk are just not quite the same.

(That is one of my favorite things, when I have work-related reading that I can take outside.)
