Weekend notes. No particular order.

1. The freeway fell down, did you notice? We found out when we went to pick up a rental van at U-Haul to take our old couch to the dump on Sunday morning.

2. My teeth hurt. I demand rice pudding and other soothy treats immediately.

3. Lots of headaches this weekend -- I mean that literally. I blame orthodontic work as above, plus the possible return of my sinus infection. My I blew my nose this morning and there was blood. This makes me cranky. Also, my throat is starting to hurt again.

4. Didn't make it to Queer Playground. Fooled around at home instead. In fact, G. and I took the opportunity to practice some not-ready-for-public-scrutiny rope bondage techniques. In public, it looks dorky to consult the manual. At home, it's just cute.

5. Did make it out on Saturday, and had a lovely social time. Ate a lot of guacamole b/c see teeth, above. Won a prize!

6. Did the next to last big WisCon thing. The biggest thing, in fact. Done!

7. I could have used more weekend. No, really.

Re #4: I'm actually really shy about my rope work and back when I went to public events regularly, I would have to consult a given book and practice my little rope projects exhaustively before I would try them in front of others. But it is so much fun.
