nadyalec and merovingian at Cafe Montmarte, a little "French Bistro"-slash-college-hangout place near the hotel.
At the end of our dinner, our server asked why we were in town. We told him we'd just finished attending a feminist science fiction convention.
"Really?" he said. "That sounds fascinating."
He then asked us for a recommended reading list.
I am not making this up.
Of course we gave him one. And it wasn't even too long! (Our advice: start with the Tiptree Award anthos and explore.)
