When a guy says, "I'm more feminist than most self-proclaimed feminists I know." it's also a pretty good sign of his personality type.

I hadn't heard of him until Gawker got ahold of him, as described. I spent a few lurid weeks reading his blog and deciding that, yeah, they'd pretty much nailed him. This interview really only confirms that impression.

I have to admit that I *love* this guy! I think he is funny and brilliant and I love his films, as self indulgent as they are.
I think he has a sarcastic sense of humor that not a lot of people enjoy. I think he doesn't sugar coat his truth and I appreciate it. Just my 2cents :)

I haven't seen any of his films. But I have to say I found his blog (and thus probably his book) a complete train wreck. Definitely *unintentionally* entertaining.

I like sarcastic senses of humor, but not his :) There's something to be said for his willingness to be upfront and lay it all out, but what ends up on the table can't be called pretty. IMHO, of course.

Is that really a picture of him? IMDB says he's my age (2 months older than I am), so I guess he's done a good job of avoiding the sun.

Anyway, 30 years ago, he was 15. He could have seen a prostitute then, sure. I wonder if he did.

"had" doesn't sound like the right verb. "visited" maybe?

Although you could say "I've had ten girlfriends/boyfriends in thirty years" and that sounds OK.

I love it when people (mostly men) claim that everyone else is even worse to make whatever they're doing look better. "But EVERY guy cheats on his wife all the time! I'VE only done it twice!" Okay, buddy. People are supposedly scum, and that makes you a prince in comparison.
