Friday miscellany
Nov. 9th, 2007 08:01 amPosted just in case you thought we were all tough and humorless at my house, or something.
The evening that
black_pearl_10 posted this...
...we really did run around the apartment, just before bedtime, pretending we were riding horses and I was carrying a whip.
At some point, the cats were incorporated into the chase (i.e they were carried in our arms while we ran around), much to their confusion. This continued until I couldn't breathe anymore from laughing too hard.
*
Last night, someone took out the planter that sits at the street end of our driveway.
It was a big pot.
The skid marks were impressive.
Also impressive: the car in question missed a hydrant and two parked cars (and all the cars in the driveway) and hit only the planter.
I really do not like the curve off the highway bridge that leads to our house. Cars take it way too fast, and they aren't expecting a quiet little residential street on the other side. I always knew that someday, someone would miss the turn and end up in an accident. I am glad that only the pot and its plant were the casualties this time around.

Still thinking about web pages, and chapbooks. Chapbooks do not tire me out the way web pages do.
