Thirty-five pounds of porn DVDs landed on my doorstep yesterday. And that's only the first batch. Yep, it's time for the AVN Awards. I will be spending most of the week parked in front of the TV, finger on the fast forward.

Most mainstream porn (what a phrase!) is produced exactly with the fast food aesthetic -- cheap, quick, and in quantity. So your comparison is really quite apt. A lot of people who feel ambivalent about porn (like me, heh) are really unhappy with the fast food part, not the sex part.
