Making Up For Being Sick

I finished a story today. A couple hours' work. I mean, I'm in the "bored" stage of being sick where I've taken all the naps I can and I'm dosed up with tea and comfort food (blender shakes and popsicles and tapioca pudding, mmmm), and I don't feel especially sick except for the fever and the sore throat, and I can't get together with any friends because I'm probably contagious. I just don't have much left to do but write.

So I did.

And now it's done.

I like it, too.

We'll let it age for a week and then see what I think then.

And then maybe I can tell everyone about it in public. (Private's OK now.)

(note added 6/28: I meant that I can't talk about what the story's about in public yet. But you can ask me in private. Sorry to be unclear. Thanks to redbird for catching the ambiguity here. In other words, it's OK for you all to be reading this post :) )

Boy, I can tell I wrote that last line way too late at night. You're right, it's pretty ambiguous. What I meant was that I can't talk in public about the content of the story yet. But I can tell everyone that it exists.
